Hello, My Creative Compadres!
Hello, my awesome Creativity Seekers!
I hope you are well and warm!
My family has just wrapped up my daughter's wedding! It has been whirlwind.
Everything was fantastic, and my daughter was a stunnigly beautiful bride. My other 3 children also had a role in the wedding, so it really was a family adventure. :)
And now, life returns to normal, whatever that means!
Today, I would like to share with you a bit of creative play. I really needed just some playtime, so I got out my Gelli Plate, and played around.
It was lots of fun, and if you haven't tried it, you should!
Hello, Creative Friends :)
I'm just dropping in for a quick note today!
I hope your new year is going well so far :) It's still a very busy season, so don't forget to take a few minutes to play, refresh, and renew.
I'm excited to share with you that Jane Davenport has a new line of mixed media products!
I have some of them!
So, without further ado, I hope you'll enjoy this speed painting of some creative playtime in my art journal.
Merry Christmas! Happy New Year :)
Dear Creative Joy Seekers,
I hope this holiday season finds you well and warm!
Here in Texas, we finally have some cold weather! Yay! It makes it feel like Christmas. (although, if I'm honest, it's rarely cold here on Christmas...)
I thought, in the midst of the busy-ness, you might like to take a small creativity break!
I know I need them. Even taking 5 minutes between projects makes a huge difference for me. I can feel the stress and tension melt away while I'm creating.
I hope you will take a few minutes for yourself and try out this fun tutorial for using masking fluid and water-based pens.

Hello, Creativity Seekers :)
I hope this note finds you well! Today, I want to share with you some art supply testing.
Creative Art Box generously sent me their November box, and it had Panpastels and a Pitt pen. I thought it was a great opportunity to test out these new supplies!
If you are interested in getting a box of surprise supplies, Creative Art Box is a fun subscription box that will give you that opportunity. :) The last day to order the December box is November 21st.
With my supplies, I decided to test paper types and various mediums.
