Happy Halloween!  I hope you are having a spooktacular day!  

I was originally going to share more about planning today, but due to a Happy Accident in my studio this week, I changed my mind!  Instead, I'm sharing my discovery.  I also made a video of this technique.  Enjoy!

As I've mentioned, I am part of a group called "Creative Sandbox", hosted/mentored by Melissa Dinwiddie.  My Monday creative prompt was 'Flow' and Weightlessness'. 

I was really excited about this prompt.  I especially love the concept of flow!  I had been considering these all day -- how to draw or paint them.  Finally, at the end of the day, I just decided to play around with my alcohol inks and see what happened- to get into the flow of creativity.  I made some floral designs with Oregano, Mushroom, Currant, and a touch of silver Adirondack Alcohol Inks.

I've been in planning and playing mode this week!  I thought you might like to hear a bit about my process for both :)  +   I have a subscribers only bonus at the end.  Don't worry, I'll keep it short!  I know how busy you are!

Now, I know many creatives don't like the process of planning.  Frankly, I'm not sure how much I like it, either!  UGH!  But, here is the problem...

I have dreams!  I have so many things I want to accomplish - with art, with business, with life!

The only way I know how to get to those dreams is by planning.
