Hello, my awesome Creativity Seekers!
I hope you are well and warm!
My family has just wrapped up my daughter's wedding! It has been whirlwind. Everything was fantastic, and my daughter was a stunnigly beautiful bride. My other 3 children also had a role in the wedding, so it really was a family adventure. :)
And now, life returns to normal, whatever that means!
Today, I would like to share with you a bit of creative play. I really needed just some playtime, so I got out my Gelli Plate, and played around. It was lots of fun, and if you haven't tried it, you should!
I got out quite a few supplies, but as you will see in thevideo, I ended up not using them all!
Psychadelic! this is my first pull. I was definitely using too much paint, and i got a ton of texture! It's all good :)
Not an actual print, but it was fun to clean the fantastic red paint off my stencil onto this fabulous turquoise background :)
This turned out to be my favorite tool of the day!
What is it?? I love board games! So, this is the left over cardboard from punching out pieces for a board game that I got for Christmas. (My family thinks I'm a little wacko for saving stuff like this!) I completely loved the results!!
And, I adore these little circles of paint! (sorry for the fuzzy photo!)
Last, but definitely not least, my favorite pull of the day! It has a-mazing texture, color, and pattern. I love the hints of metallic gold!
Thank you for joining me for a Creative Play session! I hope that you are inspired to take a few minutes, even if it's 5 or 10, and play. It's good for the soul!
