It's still May, so that means, we are still exploring GREEN in our private color exploration group over on Facebook! (You are more than welcome to join me there.)

I didn't realize how much I actually like green until we started playing with it as part of the challenge. I was so happy playing with green, that I kept going!  Once I finished my watercolor in greens, I went on to create an art journal page with greens.  Don't you just love getting in that creative flow!!  Bliss!!

I hope you are well.  :)  If you are one of my Australian friends, my heart goes out to you.  I can't be there physically, but I am with you in spirit.  I am praying for you, your families, your animals, your country.  I wish I could do more.  

I think we all wish we could do more.

In light of that, I want to join Angela Fehr, and paint rain for Australia.  I watched her video today, and was very inspired to follow her example.  Along with her community of artists, she is painting rain and praying for Australia. She has links for donations, as well.  ​

Gratitude Junk Journal starts today!  I'm so excited!! 

I want you to know, ​I'm so thankful that you are following me. That you are exploring and growing and creating!  You are so generous and kind - it's amazing to have followers like you!

While Gratitude Junk Journal is live this month, I will be trying to work from the daily prompts (challenge, quote or lesson) in the classroom.  I know I won't be making something every day, because, well - life - but I will be creating as I am able, and checking in with the class facebook group!   I will also be sharing over on Instagram :)

Fall is finally showing up here in Texas!  It's nice and cool and wonderful!  It makes me want to get outside and make art.
