Fly High - A special tribute to a dear friend | World Watercolor Month Day 8 | Jessica Sanders Art
The prompt for World Watercolor Month Day 8 was "Fly High". This prompt has special meaning to me. In June, we lost an amazing young man in a terrible tragedy. He was part of our "extended family", and has a special place in our hearts. He died a hero, and that was totally fitting for him. We miss him. What does that have to do with the prompt Fly High? Well, this young man was such an inspiration, that our high school swim team has a special award that was created specifically for him, and other students that followed, called the "Fly High" award. The award was created for students who always go the extra mile to improve and to help others - students who give it their all.
