My word for the year is Possibilities.

Possibilities are things that may happen--potential, opportunity, hope, risk. Risk is inherent in possibility. It's funny to me that the opposite of possibility is certainty, safety, a guarantee...all of the things we think we want, but never seem to really happen.

There are no guarantees in life, only possibilities. How we respond to those opportunities makes all the difference.

"You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith, and hope." ~Thomas Merton

Possibility is a wide open field.

The potential for anything to happen. This year, let's choose to embrace possibilities....the many opportunities that present themselves every day. We can let go of the fear, take the leap, and see what happens.

We can Be in the Moment.

Let's see how many smiles we can bring by taking the risk of putting ourselves out there. We can change the world, one smile at a time!
