Since beginning this blog, my purpose has been to bring a smile to the face of my readers while sharing art, creativity insights, and life.  It has been quite a journey, but I feel that I have not been really living up to what I set out to do.  I am taking steps to change that!

My first step is to bring to you

I guess you could call me an idealist.  I believe there is good in the world, and great potential in each person to make a difference.  Being your best self, pushing forward despite the obstacles, reaching for a higher purpose--these are the things that change the world.

I don't think changing the world has to be hard.  Every day, every smile, every small way that we help people, and encourage each other makes the difference.

Ghandi said, "Be the Change you wish to see in the world."

That is my goal!

With that in mind, I want to commit to you to bring daily art + inspiration to your inbox.  They will be super short with the intent to brighten your day.  I will be creating art to share every day.  I"m not promising that it will be good art...just art!

Once a week, or so, I will also include my regular blog post with helpful updates and tips.  I don't have all of the details worked out, but I do want to mention that I am not including weekends...everyone needs time off!

So, here it is in a nutshell:

That's it...pretty simple, huh?  You know I like SIMPLE!!

I have a few other ideas floating around in my head that I think would be really exciting, like art tutorials, inspiration art videos, etc, but ...one step at a time.

I have been painting small works, as in, 6 x 6 x 1.5"!   They stand by themselves..no need to hang or frame.  These would make great original art for your desk.

It tends to be a challenge for me because I like to work on large surfaces, but I think they are cute!
